Luther Memorial is a congregation of the Nebraska Synod
of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our particular interest as a community is creating a genuinely hospitable environment and helping people deepen in their spiritual maturity. Soul-full development is a high priority.
Pastor Carmala Aderman
The Rev. Carmala Aderman has been the Senior Pastor since the end of 2007. She has a particular interest in helping people grow deeper in faith and discover how they can live that faith more effectively in the world. Pastor Aderman has an additional Master’s in Spirituality and a graduate certificate in spiritual direction from St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, MN. With her encouragement, Luther Memorial has trained two more spiritual directors from the Nebraska Synod’s Institute for Spiritual Direction Formation, Seeking the Spirit Within, and has a vibrant spiritual direction and retreat ministry.
